Presented here are 22 practical pieces of outdoor furniture that anyone can build–from deck chairs and picnic tables to a box planter and big swing. These handsome projects can be made from affordable and readily available one-by and two-by lumber, using such basic woodworking tools such as a hammer, saw, drill, and clamps. Each project includes a detailed list of materials plus a shopping list to take to the home center, step-by-step instructions, and an assembly drawing that shows where each piece fits. The joints are made with nothing more complicated than glue and nails or screws. The projects can be finished with paint or varnish, or they can be left unfinished to weather naturally.

What do you think of this poem?

Pennsylvania Spring

When winter’s icy winds at last go back
Up to the arctic and the snowstorms quit,
Then PennDot crews with signs of orange and black
Patch potholes while the backlogged traffic sits.
When yard sale signs like dandelions pop
On poles and signs in every neighbor’s yard,
Then from the fields where farmers plant their crop
The scent of cow manure wafts near and far.
When all the furniture upon my deck
Is covered with a thick green pollen haze,
Then Benadryl will have to keep in check
The allergies that plague this season’s days.
Each year reminders like these tell me when
The Pennsylvania Spring has come again!

excellent poem, did you write it yourself? it flows so well and your choice of words really blew me away.
even though it is really good, posting it on here is good for feedback but people can steal your poem without you even knowing it. if you have a lot more poetry, it might be best to publish them online such as at fictionpress.com, where are soon as you put it on the web it’s copyrighted so no one can steal your stuff.
