Anyone have a toddler who has trouble walking?
I have a 19 month old who CAN walk…she has stood up and walked across the room on her own and will walk no problem holding your hand, BUT she opts not to 99% of the time. The pediatrician said that in 3 months if she is not walking on her own that she will refer her to a physical therapist, occupational therapist and a neurologist. She said she thinks she has some loose ligament issue going on( the name of it, I can’t remember) We make her walk everyday, but she prefers to crawl. She can climb up and down stairs and climb on furniture and even up a slide!
Any suggestions on how to get her up and walking?
i don’t have one but i know of one….she’s 18months…last weekend she started walking perfectly then stoppeed and is still not budging…..i think you jus gotta give them time
